{"id":1215,"date":"2009-04-07T09:00:15","date_gmt":"2009-04-07T14:00:15","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/moriahjovan.com\/mojo\/?p=1215"},"modified":"2025-08-01T22:31:14","modified_gmt":"2025-08-02T03:31:14","slug":"yet-more-reviews","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/moriahjovan.com\/talesofdunham\/blog\/yet-more-reviews\/","title":{"rendered":"Yet more reviews!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I had a nice surprise when I opened up my <a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/Proviso-Moriah-Jovan\/product-reviews\/0981769616\/ref=dp_top_cm_cr_acr_txt?ie=UTF8&amp;showViewpoints=1\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Amazon reviews page<\/a> and saw that Midwest Book Review had given me 5 stars.  On their own site, I got a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.midwestbookreview.com\/sbw\/mar_09.htm#fict\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">\u201cReviewer\u2019s Choice\u201d listing for March<\/a>.  They\u2019re fairly important in bookland, from what I can gather, so I wasn\u2019t even sure they\u2019d review it.  You can imagine my delight when I found out that not only had they reviewed it \u2026 I need to contact them to change my pub\u2019s name, though.<\/p>\n<p>Then Th. gave me what I think is an <a href=\"http:\/\/thmazing.blogspot.com\/2009\/03\/proviso-by-moriah-jovan.html?showComment=1237923540000\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">awesome review<\/a>. Heck, I\u2019m just grateful he read it at all, since as far as I know, he\u2019s the only Mormon who has.  He hated Knox. To me, that was incredibly instructive and has had me thinking about a<a href=\"http:\/\/moriahjovan.com\/talesofdunham\/blog\/book-review-married-to-a-rock-star\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"> similar reaction I had to the characters in another book<\/a>, on which I will expound further once I gather my thoughts.<\/p>\n<p>I\u2019m in the process of gathering the vignettes and outtakes from <em>The Proviso<\/em> (<a href=\"http:\/\/moriahjovan.com\/talesofdunham\/extras\/vignettes-outtakes\/dirty-little-secrets\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">which you can read online here<\/a>) and compiling them into a nice e-book format for download.  This one has a different cover.
