*teehee* I’ve already got a sizable stash of MoJo porn. What this book made me realize is that I am NOT cut out to be an editor because it sucks the fun out of stuff when you read it over and over. I’d already read the original bit in several formats, remember. Much as I like the beginning, I felt like I really wasn’t getting the pure reading experience until I finally hit fresh territory and I could really get sucked into it instead of thinking, “Yep, I remember this part and it’s good. . . and THEN what?” So yeah–send your random naughtiness unless it’s going to wind up in a book.

The font thing I get. Worst part about it was that it told me I’m getting old. It was like trying to read the ingredients on a bottle of Reed’s Ginger Brew (i.e. devilishly small) sometimes because I was usually curled up in bed with only an LED booklight. (Aha–it wasn’t just your fault. . .) We know this really means I should get serious about digital.

How the hell do you have time to read at all?

I find myself having to use the toilet a lot more often and for longer periods of time. Very strange coincidence.

I’ve read 700-page books before–and almost always in one sitting–so this really puzzled me. . . until I realized you’ve got the font cranked so small and it’s really about twice that long.

My eyeballs apologize to your eyeballs. Does it help to know that we are simpatico on that issue?

I’m already going into sex withdrawal because you’ve spoiled me.

Awww. . . You're channeling my grandma! That was one of her favorite motivators. ;) How the hell can you read more than one book at a time? How the hell do you have time to read at all? (Yes, it's the ADD and you're a maniac.) It took me a WEEK to read The Proviso (yes, I stayed up all day after work to finish it yesterday and I didn't even eat) and it kicked my arse the whole way. I found myself sleeping little more than five hours a day, TYVM. I've read 700-page books before--and almost always in one sitting--so this really puzzled me. . . until I realized you've got the font cranked so small and it's really about twice that long. And yes, as soon as my tired brain can integrate everything you've just put me through, I will write a glowing review (and hopefully not piss you off in the process). Not because you're a best friend, but because IT'S.JUST.THAT.GOOD. What a ride. Next on my plate is House of Leaves, which I am assured will be Scary (yes, with a capital S), but I'm already going into sex withdrawal because you've spoiled me. ETA a big shithello--the scripting here won't let me format the book's title properly. . . only House is supposed to be blue and it's not saving color tags at all for me. Harfumpf.
