Samhain has been doing something similar…only with select titles, for well-behaved authors. I believe feedback is something like a 20% uptick? Which is pretty good. Nice tool for digital sales, at least, where people can get to the end of the extended sample and click the buy link that’s hopefully right down on the last page.
